Gregory A. Nahas has been a tort and commercial litigator engaged in a diverse spectrum of practice areas for over twenty-five years. Greg has litigated cases to conclusion in both jury and bench trials in state and federal tribunals, and recently served as co-counsel in obtaining the 2024 highest verdict in the United States in the categories of racial profiling, police corruption, and illegal search.
He likewise engages in arbitration, mediation, and other avenues of alternative dispute resolution when such forums are case-appropriate. Greg’s appellate practice has included favorable outcomes in New York’s First, Second, and Third Appellate Departments, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Greg obtained his dual Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University, his Master of Fine Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, and his Juris Doctor from Hofstra University School of Law. He is admitted in all New York State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
